Day 1: Guwahati Arrival – Scenic Drive to Nameri National Park

Your unforgettable Northeast India adventure begins as you arrive in Guwahati and meet our travel team at the designated pickup point. After a quick tour briefing by the trip captain, begin your picturesque drive towards Nameri National Park, located in the lush foothills of the Eastern Himalayas.

Known for its rich biodiversity and untouched natural beauty, Nameri is home to exotic wildlife including elephants, hornbills, leopards, and rare bird species. Surrounded by dense forests and serene landscapes, this destination is a paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 2: River Rafting in Nameri – Drive to Dirang

Start your morning with an exciting river rafting experience on the crystal-clear Jia Bhoroli River, one of the most popular adventure activities in Assam. Surrounded by dense forests and Himalayan scenery, the rafting experience offers the perfect blend of thrill and natural beauty.

After breakfast, continue your journey towards Dirang, a charming Himalayan town famous for its pleasant weather, monasteries, apple orchards, and panoramic mountain views.

Day 3: Dirang to Tawang via Sela Pass

After breakfast, embark on one of the most breathtaking drives in Arunachal Pradesh as you head towards Tawang, situated at an altitude of over 10,000 feet.

En route, cross the spectacular Sela Pass, one of the highest motorable mountain passes in India. Covered in snow for most of the year, the pass offers mesmerizing Himalayan views. Stop at the serene Sela Lake, a stunning high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by snow-clad mountains.

You will also visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to the bravery of Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat during the Indo-China War.

Reach Tawang by evening, check into your hotel, and enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 4: Bum La Pass Excursion – Madhuri Lake & P.T. Tso

Today’s journey takes you to the legendary Bum La Pass near the Indo-China border at an altitude of approximately 15,200 feet. The route is filled with dramatic mountain landscapes, frozen lakes, and breathtaking views.

Explore the picturesque P.T. Tso Lake and the famous Madhuri Lake (Shonga-Tser Lake), known for its appearance in Bollywood films and its surreal beauty surrounded by snow-covered peaks.

After an adventurous day near the border region, return to Tawang by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Tawang Local Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, begin exploring the cultural and spiritual gems of Tawang. Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India and one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the world.

Continue to Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, followed by a visit to the iconic Giant Buddha Statue overlooking the beautiful Tawang Valley.

You will also explore the historic Chakzam Bridge, an ancient suspension bridge built using traditional iron chain technology.

In the evening, visit the Tawang War Memorial and witness the captivating Light & Sound Show dedicated to Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1962 Indo-China War.
