Day 1: Delhi to Shimla | Overnight Journey to the Himalayas

Board your overnight bus from Delhi and leave behind the city hustle as you begin your scenic journey toward Shimla. Carry your winter essentials, warm layers, and excitement for one of India’s most breathtaking mountain expeditions.

Relax during the overnight drive while the landscapes slowly transform into snow-covered Himalayan terrain.

Overnight Journey to Shimla

Day 2: Shimla to Chitkul/Sangla | Enter the Magical Kinnaur Valley

Arrive near Shimla early in the morning via the iconic Hindustan-Tibet Highway, known for its dramatic mountain roads and stunning valley views.

After a short refreshment stop, continue your journey in a comfortable Tempo Traveler towards the enchanting villages of Chitkul or Sangla. As you drive deeper into Kinnaur Valley, witness changing landscapes filled with pine forests, snow-capped peaks, rivers, and charming Himalayan settlements.

Upon arrival, check into your cozy hotel or homestay and unwind amidst nature.

Enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay in Chitkul/Sangla.

Day 3: Chitkul/Sangla to Kalpa | Explore the Beauty of Kinner Kailash

En route, stop at Reckong Peo, the administrative hub of Kinnaur, where you can capture stunning photographs, shop for local snacks, and enjoy mesmerizing mountain views.

If time permits, explore the historic Kamru Fort, a fascinating structure showcasing ancient Himachali architecture and cultural heritage.

Upon reaching Kalpa, visit the peaceful Kalpa Monastery and the famous Suicide Point, known for its dramatic cliffside scenery and breathtaking Himalayan backdrop.

En route, stop at the spectacular Khab Sangam, where the mighty Sutlej and Spiti Rivers merge amidst dramatic mountain scenery.

Upon reaching Nako, take a peaceful walk around the beautiful Nako Lake and soak in the tranquil surroundings. Later, visit the ancient Nako Monastery, known for its spiritual significance and Tibetan Buddhist culture.

Day 5: Nako to Kaza | Journey Into the Heart of Spiti Valley

Start your morning with breakfast before heading toward Kaza, the cultural and commercial center of Spiti Valley.

On the way, explore the world-famous Tabo Monastery, a 1000-year-old UNESCO-recognized spiritual treasure often referred to as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas” due to its ancient murals and frescoes.

Continue to the spectacular Dhankar Monastery and Dhankar Fort, dramatically perched on cliffs overlooking the confluence of rivers and valleys below.

Arrive in Kaza by evening and check into your hotel. Spend your evening exploring the charming local market, cozy cafes, and mountain atmosphere.

Day 6: Spiti Valley Sightseeing | Key Monastery, Hikkim, Langza & Chicham

Today is dedicated to discovering Spiti Valley’s most iconic attractions and highest villages.

Begin your day at the legendary Key Monastery, the largest monastery in Spiti Valley, beautifully perched on a hilltop overlooking the valley. Experience the peaceful ambiance and Buddhist traditions of this ancient spiritual center.

Next, visit Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge, offering jaw-dropping views of deep Himalayan gorges.

Continue to Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, where you can send postcards to loved ones from one of the highest inhabited regions on Earth.

Drive further to Komic Village, among the world’s highest motorable villages, before heading to Langza Village, famous for its giant Buddha statue and prehistoric marine fossils.

Return to Kaza for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Any airfare/rail fare other than what is mentioned in inclusions, or any type of transportation from Manali or Srinagar.
  • Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
  • Additional costs due to flight cancellations, landslides, roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
  • Security deposit per motorbike of Rs. 5,000/- as per the deposit policy (refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts required. The refund would be credited within 7-10 working days, post filling up the security form).
