Day 1: Arrive in Varanasi – Evening Ganga Aarti
Once you land in Varanasi either at the airport or on a train, you will be welcomed at the airport/station and assisted to your hotel. Once you check in, you can relax and unwind.
In the early evening, you will head down to the banks of the River Ganges to participate in the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. The Ganga Aarti is a very spiritual ceremony that uses chanting and flaming lamps and gives you an incredible experience of devotion and culture.
You can also opt to see the Ganga Aarti from a boat on the river, which is an additional cost, but gives you a different perspective of the event.
Once the event is over, you can return to your hotel and have your overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 02: Sunrise Boat Ride – Temple दर्शन – Sarnath Excursion
On the holy Ganges, you have an optional boat ride that begins early in the morning. During this boat ride, you will see the impressive sunrise and enjoy the beauity of Varanasi while the crowds of locals are praying to the sun as it rises behind the ghats.
You will also have the chance to see the famous ghats along the river:
Manikarnika Ghat
Dashashwamedh Ghat
Assi Ghat
After the morning boat ride, you will return to your hotel for breakfast, then we will visit the major temples in Varanasi:
Annapurna Temple
Bharat Mata Temple
Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple
Durga Temple
We will also visit the important Buddhist pilgrimage site in Sarnath, where Lord Buddha first preached.
Highlights at Sarnath are as follows:
Dhamek Stupa
Chaukhandi Stupa
Sarnath Museum.
If you would like, you can also go shopping in the local markets for exquisite traditional Banarasi items.
You will spend the night in Varanasi.
Day 03: Departure From Varanasi
Once you finish breakfast, you will have leisure time to relax and/or do some short exploration of your surroundings, and when it is time to go to Varanasi airport/railway station for the next part of your journey, you will leave with amazing memories from this trip.
