Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization Amid the Himalayas
Welcome to Leh, the breathtaking gateway to Ladakh and the legendary Land of High Passes. Upon arrival at Leh Airport, our team will assist you with a comfortable transfer to your hotel.
The first day is dedicated to acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to the high altitude. Relax at your hotel, stay hydrated, and avoid strenuous activities to ensure a smooth start to your adventure.
In the evening, meet your trip leader for a detailed orientation session covering the journey ahead, safety guidelines, and travel essentials.

Day 2: Leh to Kargil – Exploring Ladakh’s Historic Landmarks (210 KM)
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Kargil, one of Ladakh’s most significant towns.
En route, witness the mesmerizing confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Sangam. Visit the renowned Hall of Fame Museum, dedicated to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. Experience the mysterious Magnetic Hill and seek blessings at the revered Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.
Continue through the surreal Moonland landscapes of Lamayuru and cross the majestic mountain passes of Fotu La and Namika La before arriving in Kargil.

Day 3: Kargil to Padum – Entering the Hidden Kingdom of Zanskar (295 KM)
Today’s journey takes you deep into the remote and untouched Zanskar Valley.
Drive through the picturesque Suru Valley and the charming village of Rangdum before ascending the spectacular Penzi La Pass, the gateway to Zanskar. Enjoy breathtaking views of the pristine Statso and Langtso Lakes along the route.
One of the major highlights of the day is witnessing the magnificent Drang Drung Glacier, one of the largest glaciers in Ladakh.
Arrive in Padum, the cultural heart of Zanskar Valley, and settle into your accommodation.

Day 4: Padum Sightseeing – Monasteries, Lakes & Local Culture
Spend the day exploring the cultural treasures of Padum.
Visit the famous Karsha Monastery, the largest and most influential monastery in Zanskar, known for its ancient murals and Buddhist heritage. Continue to the serene Sani Lake, surrounded by stunning Himalayan landscapes and peaceful village life.
Later, enjoy free time to wander through Padum Market, interact with locals, and experience authentic Zanskari culture.

Day 5: Padum to Purne – Visit the Iconic Phuktal Monastery (56 KM)
After breakfast, journey towards the remote village of Purne, one of the most scenic locations in Zanskar.
En route, visit the legendary Phuktal Monastery, dramatically built into a cliff face above the Lungnak River. This centuries-old monastery is famous for its cave structures and spiritual significance.
Explore the monastery complex and admire its unique architecture before continuing to Purne.
Experience authentic mountain hospitality with a stay in a traditional homestay or cottage.

Day 6: Purne to Sarchu via Shinku La Pass & Gombo Rangzan
Prepare for one of the most adventurous drives of the expedition.
Travel through Kargyak, the last inhabited village of Zanskar, and witness the stunning landscapes surrounding the sacred mountain of Gombo Rangzan.
Cross the spectacular Shinku La Pass (16,500 ft), which connects Zanskar with Himachal Pradesh. After joining the legendary Leh–Manali Highway near Darcha, continue past the emerald waters of Deepak Tal and Suraj Tal before conquering the iconic Baralacha La Pass.
Arrive in Sarchu and experience an unforgettable night under the Himalayan sky.

Day 7: Sarchu to Leh – Across the Legendary Manali-Leh Highway (230 KM)

Ride through the famous Gata Loops with its thrilling 21 hairpin bends and cross three spectacular high-altitude passes — Nakee La, Lachulung La, and Tanglang La.
Travel across the vast More Plains, a surreal 40-kilometer stretch surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes. Continue through Pang and Upshi before reaching Leh.
Before concluding the day, visit the iconic Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains.
