Day 1-Varanasi to Bodhgaya (Approx 300 km / 6 hours)
Your day will start with a pickup from your hotel/residence/airport/railway station and then on the way to the world’s largest Buddhist pilgrimage site of Bodhgaya, where Buddha became enlightened. You will check into your hotel in Bodhgaya and have some free time before continuing for local sight-seeing including:
- Mahabodhi Temple – UNESCO World Heritage Site – place where Buddha received enlightenment
- The actual Bodhi Tree, under which Buddha meditated
- The Great Buddha statue- a symbol of peace and spirituality for the area
The tour will continue visiting other spiritual & historical sites in the area, which include:
- Sita Kund
- Janki Temple
- Haleshwar Asthan
- Ramchura (Vaishali)
After completing your temple sites, you will return to the hotel for the night in Bodhgaya.

Day 02: Bodhgaya – Gaya Sightseeing – Return to Varanasi (Approx. 300 km / 6 Hours)
Start your day with a peaceful breakfast at the hotel in Bodhgaya. Afterward, proceed for a short drive to Gaya, an important pilgrimage destination for Hindu devotees.
Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the sacred Vishnupad Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This revered temple is believed to house the divine footprints of Lord Vishnu imprinted on a rock, making it a significant site for performing religious rituals and pind daan ceremonies.
Continue your exploration by visiting the serene banks of the Phalgu River, where devotees gather to perform ancestral rites and spiritual offerings.
Later, visit prominent international Buddhist monasteries in and around Bodhgaya, including:
- Japanese Temple
- Chinese Temple
- Tibetan Monastery
These monasteries reflect diverse architectural styles and offer a calm environment for meditation and spiritual reflection.
After completing the sightseeing, begin your return journey to Varanasi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at your hotel, residence, airport, or railway station as per your departure schedule.
