Day 01: Varanasi to Ayodhya – Arrival & Ram Janmabhoomi Darshan
After breakfast, begin your spiritual journey from Varanasi to the sacred city of Ayodhya (approx. 270 km / 6 hours), known as the birthplace of Lord Rama.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, proceed for a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Ayodhya, covering major religious and cultural landmarks:
- Ram Janmabhoomi – the revered birthplace of Lord Rama
- Hanuman Garhi – a prominent temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman
- Kanak Bhavan – known for its beautiful idols of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita
- Sita Ki Rasoi – believed to be the kitchen of Goddess Sita
- Tulsi Smarak Bhavan – associated with Goswami Tulsidas and his literary works
Ayodhya reflects a rich spiritual heritage where traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Islam have coexisted over centuries.
Return to the hotel in the evening. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Ayodhya.
Day 02: Ayodhya – Chhapaiya Excursion – Return to Varanasi
After breakfast, drive to Chhapaiya (approx. 60 km / 1 hour), an important pilgrimage site and the birthplace of Lord Swaminarayan.
Visit key attractions including:
- Swaminarayan Temple Chhapaiya – a grand temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan
- Ghanshyam Bhavan – the sacred birthplace of Lord Swaminarayan
- Narayan Sarovar Chhapaiya – a holy water tank where devotees take ritual baths
- Trikoniya Kshetra and Meen Sarovar – spiritually significant sites connected to Lord Swaminarayan’s early life
After exploring Chhapaiya, begin your return journey to Varanasi (approx. 270 km / 6 hours). Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
