Day 01: Lucknow to Ayodhya – Arrival & Ram Janmabhoomi Darshan
Your journey begins with a pickup from Lucknow, followed by a comfortable drive to the sacred city of Ayodhya (approx. 150 km / 3 hours), revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, proceed for an immersive sightseeing tour of Ayodhya, covering:
- Ram Janmabhoomi – the holy birthplace of Lord Rama
- Kanak Bhavan – a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita
- Sita Ki Rasoi – believed to be the ancient kitchen of Goddess Sita
- Hanuman Garhi – a prominent temple devoted to Lord Hanuman
- Tulsi Smarak Bhavan – associated with the life and works of Goswami Tulsidas
Ayodhya is a city where multiple spiritual traditions—Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Islam—have flourished over centuries, creating a rich cultural and religious heritage.
Return to the hotel in the evening. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Ayodhya.
Day 02: Ayodhya – Chhapaiya Excursion – Return to Lucknow
After breakfast, drive to Chhapaiya (approx. 60 km / 1 hour), an important pilgrimage site associated with Lord Swaminarayan.
Visit key attractions including:
- Swaminarayan Temple Chhapaiya – a grand temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan
- Ghanshyam Bhavan – the birthplace of Lord Swaminarayan
- Narayan Sarovar Chhapaiya – a sacred water tank for ritual bathing
- Trikoniya Kshetra and Meen Sarovar – sites linked to the early life of Lord Swaminarayan
After exploring Chhapaiya, begin your return journey to Lucknow (approx. 200 km / 4 hours). On arrival, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
