Day 1: Delhi to Manali – Begin the Epic Himalayan Adventure

 

Your thrilling Ladakh bike expedition starts from Delhi, where the group gathers at the designated boarding point at Kashmere Gate in the evening. Meet your fellow travelers and trip leaders for a quick introduction and tour briefing before beginning the overnight Volvo journey to Manali in a comfortable AC semi-sleeper bus.

Get ready to leave the city lights behind and head toward the majestic Himalayas for the adventure of a lifetime.

Day 2: Arrival in Manali | Explore the Himalayan Paradise

After reaching Manali, check in to your hotel and relax amidst the cool mountain air. The day is kept free for acclimatization, helping your body adjust to the altitude before the real adventure begins.

Spend your leisure time exploring the charming streets of Old Manali, discovering local cafés, shopping at Mall Road, or enjoying the vibrant mountain culture.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a comfortable overnight stay in Manali.

Day 3: Manali to Sarchu via Atal Tunnel & Baralacha La (177 KM)

Wake up early and prepare for one of the most scenic road journeys in India. The ride begins through the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel, followed by breathtaking landscapes of Sissu Valley, Keylong, Jispa, and Darcha.

Witness the untouched beauty of Deepak Tal and Suraj Tal before crossing the mighty Baralacha La Pass at an altitude of 15,910 ft.

By evening, reach the scenic campsite at Sarchu where travelers can enjoy group bonding activities under the Himalayan sky.

Day 4: Sarchu to Leh via Gata Loops & Tanglang La (230 KM)

Today’s route is packed with thrilling mountain roads and high-altitude passes. Ride through the legendary Gata Loops with its famous 21 hairpin bends and continue toward Nakee La and Lachulung La.

Cross the mesmerizing More Plains, one of the most unique stretches on the Leh-Manali Highway, before conquering Tanglang La Pass at 17,480 ft.

As you descend toward Leh, enjoy stunning views of the Indus River and finally arrive in the heart of Ladakh.

Day 5: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (130 KM)

The adventure continues as you ride toward the magical Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

Before crossing the pass, visit the iconic Shanti Stupa overlooking Leh city. Upon reaching Nubra Valley, explore the famous Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy optional activities like ATV rides and double-hump Bactrian camel rides.

Enjoy a peaceful night surrounded by Ladakh’s dramatic mountain scenery.

Day 6: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Diskit Monastery (180 KM)

The journey then takes you toward the world-famous Pangong Tso, a stunning high-altitude lake known for its crystal-clear blue waters and changing shades.

Spend the evening relaxing beside the lake and experience unforgettable stargazing under Ladakh’s clear night skies.

Day 7: Pangong Lake to Hanle via Changthang Valley (180 KM)

Today’s ride explores the remote and untouched beauty of Changthang Valley. Pass through picturesque villages like Man and Merak while witnessing the rugged landscapes of eastern Ladakh.

Visit the historic Rezang La War Memorial near Chushul and continue through Tsaga La and Loma Bend before arriving at Hanle — India’s first Dark Sky Reserve.

Hanle offers one of the best stargazing experiences in the country.

Day 8: Hanle to Umling La Excursion | Conquer the Highest Roads

Prepare for the most thrilling day of the expedition as you ride to Umling La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 19,024 ft.

The challenging terrain, sharp curves, and barren mountain landscapes create an unforgettable riding experience. After soaking in the breathtaking panoramic views, return to Hanle for another magical night beneath the Milky Way.

Day 9: Hanle to Leh via Chumathang (254 KM)

Bid farewell to Hanle and ride back toward Leh through the scenic Chumathang region, famous for its natural hot springs.

If time permits, explore the historic Shey Palace and the beautiful Thiksey Monastery, both offering a glimpse into Ladakh’s rich Buddhist heritage and architecture.

Reach Leh by evening for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 10: Leh to Kargil via Lamayuru & Namika La (216 KM)

Continue through the surreal landscapes of Lamayuru, popularly known as the Moonland of Ladakh, and cross the scenic Fotu La and Namika La passes before reaching Kargil.

Day 11: Kargil to Srinagar via Dras & Zojila Pass (210 KM)

  • Any airfare/rail fare other than what is mentioned in inclusions, or any type of transportation from Manali or Srinagar.
  • Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
  • Additional costs due to flight cancellations, landslides, roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
  • Security deposit per motorbike of Rs. 5,000/- as per the deposit policy (refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts required. The refund would be credited within 7-10 working days, post filling up the security form).
