Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi – Temple & Ganga Aarti
Once you arrive at Varanasi Railway Station or Varanasi Airport, you’ll be greeted by one of our representatives and taken to hotel for check-in. You will have some free time to relax and refresh yourself before going out again in the evening to participate in the wonderful Ganga Aarti ceremony located at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
The ceremony is performed along the shores of the holy river Ganges. This heavenly ritual will fascinate you as you’ll see, hear and feel the combination of the chants, lighting of lamps and many other religious customs performed during this sacred ceremony.
You can also take a boat ride to enjoy the entire ceremony from the river (optional, at your own cost), which will give an additional dimension to the experience.
Ganga Aarti Timings
In Winter: 7 PM – 8 PM (approx.)
In Summer: 6 PM – 7:30 PM (approx.)
Afterwards, you will head back to the hotel for dinner and to sleep in Varanasi for the night.
Day 02: Varanasi Sightseeing – Boat Ride – Temple Tour – Sarnath Excursion
Your day begins early with the option of taking a boat ride on the sacred Ganges River and experiencing Subah-e-Banaras, the dawn light on the holy city. The tranquility that surrounds you while watching the sun rise over the Ganges River will bring you peace and spirituality.
While you are enjoying your boat ride, you will see many famous ghats; such as:
Manikarnika Ghat
Dashashwamedh Ghat
Assi Ghat
After the boat ride, you will return to your hotel for breakfast before continuing your visit of the local temples, which include:
Kashi Vishwanath Temple
Annapurna Temple
Bharat Mata Temple
Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple
Durga Temple
Banaras Hindu University
Once your temple tour is completed, you will have a chance for an excursion to Sarnath, the where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon.

After the excursion to Sarnath, you will have the rest of the evening free time to explore the local markets for Banarasi sarees and handicrafts if you wish.
You will overnight in Varanasi.
Day 03: Varanasi – Prayagraj – Triveni Sangam – Varanasi
Leave your hotel early for breakfast before travelling 122 km or 2 to 3 hours away to Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad).
After your arrival, visit the Triveni Sangam—the confluence of the three sacred rivers Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati. During your visit, you can bathe in the water or participate in rituals/puja that use the water in a spiritual way.
Once you’ve spent some time in peace near the Sangam, you can visit four different locations: Hanuman Mandir; Chandrashekhar Azad Park; Anand Bhavan; and Swaraj Bhavan. After that, you will ride back to Varanasi where you check into your hotel and have dinner. You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 4: Leaving Varanasi
Following breakfast, use your free time to shop one last time or do whatever you want.
After this free time, we will take you to either Varanasi Airport or Varanasi Railway Station to begin the next part of your journey, taking home wonderful memories of your spiritual pilgrimage!
