Day 01: Haridwar Arrival – Mussoorie – Barkot Transfer
Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive towards Barkot.
En route, enjoy a refreshing stop at Kempty Falls, one of the most popular waterfalls in the region. Spend some leisure time amidst the natural beauty and enjoy lunch on the way.
Continue your drive through picturesque mountain roads surrounded by lush valleys and Himalayan landscapes. Upon arrival in Barkot, check in to your hotel and relax.
In the evening, admire the stunning views of the majestic Bandarpunch peaks, which add charm to this peaceful hill town. Barkot serves as an important halt for pilgrims visiting Yamunotri and Gangotri during the Char Dham Yatra.

Day 02: Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri Temple Excursion – Barkot
After an early breakfast, drive towards Janki Chatti via Phool Chatti and Hanuman Chatti.
From Janki Chatti, begin the 6 km trek to the sacred Yamunotri Temple. Pilgrims can choose to trek on foot or hire a pony/palki at their own expense.
The trekking route offers breathtaking views of dense forests, waterfalls, Himalayan vegetation, and mountain streams.
Upon reaching Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the warm waters of Jamunabai Kund and seek blessings of Goddess Yamuna. Devotees also perform rituals at Divya Shila before entering the temple.
A unique ritual here includes cooking rice in the hot springs near the temple, which is later taken home as sacred prasad.
Yamunotri is revered as the origin of the holy River Yamuna, while the actual glacier source lies near Champasar Glacier.
After darshan and sightseeing, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot.

Day 03: Barkot – Uttarkashi Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed towards Uttarkashi, a spiritual town situated along the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
On arrival, check in to your hotel and later explore the local attractions of Uttarkashi including:
- Kashi Vishwanath Temple
- Kuteti Devi Temple
- Ekadash Rudra Temple
You may also explore nearby attractions such as Dodital Lake, Nachiketa Tal, and Dayara Bugyal depending upon available time.
Uttarkashi is often compared to Varanasi due to its spiritual atmosphere, river ghats, and ancient Shiva temples.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 04: Uttarkashi – Gangotri Temple – Harsil Valley Excursion
After breakfast, begin your journey to Gangotri, one of the holiest destinations of the Char Dham Yatra.
En route, stop at Gangnani to enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural hot water spring. Continue your scenic drive through the mesmerizing Harsil Valley, famous for apple orchards, pine forests, and snow-clad mountain views.
Upon arrival at Gangotri Temple, take a holy dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River and perform पूजा and darshan of Goddess Ganga.

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Haridwar Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Haridwar.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
Return home with divine blessings of Goddess Yamuna and Goddess Ganga along with unforgettable memories of your spiritual Himalayan pilgrimage.
