Day 01 : Patna Arrival – Kumrahar Buddhist Site & Patna Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Patna Airport or Railway Station, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, begin your exploration of the historical city of Patna.
Visit the ancient archaeological site of Kumrahar, an important Buddhist heritage location associated with the Mauryan Empire. Later, continue your city tour with visits to famous attractions such as:
- Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Library
- Patna Museum
- Golghar
- Local cultural landmarks and markets
Spend the evening at leisure before returning to the hotel.

Day 02 : Patna – Nalanda – Rajgir Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Nalanda, home to the world-famous ancient Nalanda University, one of the oldest residential universities in the world and an important center of Buddhist learning.
Explore the Nalanda University Archaeological Complex and witness the ruins of monasteries, temples, meditation halls, and ancient classrooms. Also visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall, built in memory of the renowned Chinese traveler and Buddhist scholar.
Later, continue your journey to Rajgir, the ancient capital of the Magadha Empire and a sacred destination for Buddhist pilgrims.
In Rajgir, visit:
- Vishwa Shanti Stupa on Ratnagiri Hill
- Griddhakuta (Vulture Peak) where Lord Buddha delivered sermons
- Venu Vana Monastery
- Bimbisar Jail
- Other important Buddhist and historical landmarks
After sightseeing, check in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay in Rajgir.
Day 03 : Rajgir – Bodhgaya – Mahabodhi Temple – Dungeshwari Caves
After breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in the world.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and proceed to visit the sacred Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built near the exact place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
Explore the peaceful surroundings of the Mahabodhi Temple Complex including:
- The sacred Bodhi Tree
- International Buddhist Monasteries
- Meditation gardens and prayer halls
Later, visit the famous Dungeshwari Cave Temples (Mahakala Caves) near Gaya, where Lord Buddha practiced deep meditation and penance before attaining enlightenment.
Also visit Sujata Village, where Sujata offered kheer to Lord Buddha, symbolizing the path of balance and enlightenment.
Return to Bodhgaya for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 : Bodhgaya – Varanasi – Sarnath Excursion
After breakfast, drive to the spiritual city of Varanasi. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.
Later, proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, the sacred place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.
Visit important Buddhist attractions in Sarnath including:
- Dhamekha Stupa
- Chaukhandi Stupa
- Mulagandha Kuti Vihara
- Archaeological Museum of Sarnath
In the evening, attend the peaceful ritual ceremony at the Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple.
Guests may also join a meditation session at a Buddhist monastery or attend spiritual teachings by Buddhist monks (subject to availability).
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 05 : Varanasi – Sunrise Boat Ride – Departure
Early morning, experience the magical charm of Subah-e-Banaras with a serene boat ride on the holy River Ganga during sunrise.
Witness the spiritual life of Varanasi while passing through the famous ghats including:
- Manikarnika Ghat
- Harishchandra Ghat
- Tulsi Ghat
- Assi Ghat
- Dashashwamedh Ghat
Each ghat reflects the deep spiritual and cultural heritage of the ancient city.
After the boat ride, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, transfer to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
