Day 01: Bodhgaya Arrival – Mahabodhi Temple & Bodhi Tree Visit
Upon arrival at Bodhgaya Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, relax for a while.
Later, begin your spiritual journey with a visit to the sacred Mahabodhi Temple, one of the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. This UNESCO World Heritage Site marks the exact location where Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment.
Spend peaceful moments under the holy Bodhi Tree, which is believed to be a direct descendant of the original tree under which Buddha meditated.
Return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
Day 02: Bodhgaya – Dungeshwari Caves – Transfer to Varanasi
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the historic Dungeshwari Caves, also known as the Mahakala Caves. These caves hold great spiritual significance as the place where Lord Buddha practiced intense meditation before attaining enlightenment.
Continue your visit to Sujata Village, where Sujata offered kheer to Buddha, marking a turning point in his spiritual journey.
Later, drive to Varanasi (approx. 300 km / 6 hours), one of the oldest living cities in the world. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 03: Varanasi – Sunrise Boat Ride – Sarnath Excursion & Evening Ritual
Start your day early with the divine experience of Subah-e-Banaras. Enjoy a serene sunrise boat ride on the sacred Ganges River, witnessing the spiritual life along the ghats.
During the boat ride, you will see famous ghats such as:
- Manikarnika Ghat – one of the oldest cremation ground
- Harishchandra Ghat
- Assi Ghat
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Later, proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park (Rishipattana).
Explore major attractions including:
- Dhamek Stupa
- Chaukhandi Stupa
- Mulagandha Kuti Vihara
- Archaeological Museum and various Buddhist monasteries
In the evening, participate in a peaceful ritual ceremony at the Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple. You may also opt for a meditation session at a monastery or attend a spiritual discourse by a Buddhist monk.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 04: Varanasi – Departure
After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time at the hotel.
Later, you will be transferred to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Depart with serene memories of your spiritual journey covering Bodhgaya and Sarnath, the most sacred sites associated with Lord Buddha.
