- Dhamek Stupa
- Chaukhandi Stupa
- Mulagandha Kuti Vihara
- Archaeological Museum and other Buddhist temples
In the evening, attend a peaceful ritual ceremony at the Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple, offering a deeply spiritual experience.
Return to your hotel in Varanasi for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02: Varanasi Morning Boat Ride – Transfer to Bodhgaya
Begin your day early with the magical experience of Subah-e-Banaras on the banks of the sacred Ganges. Enjoy a serene sunrise boat ride, witnessing the spiritual life of the ghats.
During the ride, see iconic ghats such as:
- Manikarnika Ghat – one of the oldest cremation grounds
- Harishchandra Ghat
- Assi Ghat
Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, drive to Bodhgaya (approx. 300 km / 6 hours).
On arrival, check in to your hotel and proceed to explore the sacred Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the revered Bodhi Tree, the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
Day 03: Bodhgaya Sightseeing – Dungeshwari Caves – Transfer to Rajgir
After breakfast, explore more spiritual sites around Bodhgaya.
Visit:
- Dungeshwari Caves, where Buddha practiced intense meditation
- Sujata Village, where Sujata offered kheer to Buddha before enlightenment
- Various international Buddhist monasteries representing different cultures
Later, drive to Rajgir (approx. 85 km / 2.5 hours), an ancient city and important Buddhist pilgrimage center.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and visit:
- Vishwa Shanti Stupa on Ratnagiri Hill
- Griddhakuta Hill, where Buddha delivered many sermons
- Venu Vana (Bamboo Grove) and Bimbisara Jail
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Rajgir.
Day 04: Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna Sightseeing & Departure
After breakfast, proceed to Nalanda (approx. 12 km), home to the world-renowned ancient Nalanda University.
Explore the archaeological ruins of this historic university and visit the Xuanzang Memorial Hall dedicated to the famous Chinese traveler.
Later, drive to Patna (approx. 100 km / 3 hours). On arrival, visit Kumrahar, an important ancient site linked to the Mauryan Empire.
Finally, you will be dropped at Patna Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
