Day 01: Arrival in Delhi – Evening at Leisure

Welcome to Delhi, the capital city of India. Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, our representative will warmly receive you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, relax and unwind after your journey. The remainder of the day is free for leisure activities or personal exploration. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing Tour – Heritage & Spiritual Attractions

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Begin with visits to the historic Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, followed by the iconic Red Fort and the magnificent Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India.

Later, drive past the grand government buildings including India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House). Continue exploring famous landmarks such as Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, and the peaceful Lotus Temple.

If time permits, enjoy the mesmerizing Light & Sound Show at the magnificent Akshardham Temple in the evening. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi to Varanasi – Evening Ganga Aarti

After breakfast, transfer to Delhi Airport to board your flight to Varanasi, one of the oldest living cities in the world and an important spiritual center of India. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax.

In the evening, witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Experience the divine atmosphere as priests perform synchronized rituals with lamps, chants, and devotional music on the banks of the holy River Ganga. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 04: Sunrise Boat Ride in Varanasi – Excursion to Sarnath

Early in the morning, enjoy the magical experience of Subah-e-Banaras with a serene boat ride on the River Ganges during sunrise. Witness the spiritual life of Varanasi unfolding along the historic ghats.

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, the sacred site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Visit important attractions including Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, Buddhist Temples, and the Archaeological Museum.

Day 05: Varanasi to Bodhgaya – Mahabodhi Temple Visit

After breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya, the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage destination where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel.

In the evening, visit the sacred Mahabodhi Temple Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the revered Bodhi Tree under which Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment. Explore the peaceful Buddhist monasteries built by various countries around the temple complex. Dinner and overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

Day 06: Bodhgaya Sightseeing – Meditation & Cave Temples

After breakfast, continue exploring Bodhgaya. Visit the Niranjana River and Sujata Village Temple, associated with the story of Sujata offering kheer to Lord Buddha before enlightenment.

Later, visit the famous Dungeshwari Cave Temples (Mahakala Caves), where Lord Buddha practiced severe penance for several years.

In the afternoon, participate in meditation sessions at renowned Buddhist monasteries established by different Buddhist nations. Experience peace and spirituality in this holy land. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

Day 07: Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna

After breakfast, proceed towards Patna with en-route visits to Rajgir and Nalanda.

At Rajgir, explore important Buddhist pilgrimage sites including Vulture’s Peak (Griddhakuta), Venuvanaram, Bimbisar Jail, and the magnificent Vishwa Shanti Stupa situated atop Ratnagiri Hill, accessible by chairlift.

Continue to Nalanda, home to the world-famous ancient Nalanda University ruins. Visit the archaeological remains of this historic Buddhist learning center along with the Xuanzang Memorial Hall and Chinese Pagoda.

Day 08: Patna City Tour – Flight to Kolkata

Spend the evening exploring the vibrant local markets of Kolkata. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Kolkata to Bagdogra – Transfer to Darjeeling

After breakfast, board a flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival, drive through scenic mountain roads to Darjeeling, known as the “Queen of Hills.”
