Overview

Day 01 : Delhi – Rishikesh (230 KM / Approx. 7-8 Hours Drive)

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, Railway Station, or your hotel, begin your spiritual journey towards the serene town of Rishikesh, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas along the sacred River Ganga. On reaching Rishikesh, check in to your hotel and relax after the drive.

In the evening, explore the spiritual atmosphere of the city with visits to famous attractions such as Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Geeta Bhawan. Later, attend the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, where devotional chants and illuminated lamps create a divine ambiance on the banks of the Ganges.

Return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 02 : Rishikesh – Haridwar – Barkot (215 KM / Approx. 7 Hours)

After breakfast, continue your Char Dham Yatra towards Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. En route, visit the scenic Kempty Falls, one of the most popular waterfalls in Uttarakhand surrounded by beautiful hills and greenery.

After spending some leisure time at Kempty Falls, proceed towards Barkot, a picturesque hill town situated near the Yamunotri route. Surrounded by snow-covered Himalayan peaks and orchards, Barkot offers breathtaking natural beauty and peaceful surroundings.

On arrival, check in to the hotel or camp. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 03 : Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (42 KM Drive & 6 KM Trek One Way)

Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti via Hanuman Chatti and Phool Chatti. From Janki Chatti, begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Pilgrims may also hire ponies or palkis at their own expense.

The trek route passes through beautiful valleys, waterfalls, dense forests, and Himalayan landscapes. Upon arrival at Yamunotri Dham, take a holy dip in the warm waters of Jamunabai Kund and offer prayers at the sacred temple.

Also visit Surya Kund and Divya Shila, which hold immense religious importance. Devotees traditionally cook rice in the hot springs and take it home as holy prasad.

After darshan and pooja, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 04 : Barkot – Uttarkashi (82 KM / Approx. 4 Hours)

After breakfast, drive towards Uttarkashi, a sacred town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Surrounded by mountains and dense forests, Uttarkashi is one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Uttarakhand.

En route, visit famous attractions including Prakateshwar Cave, Ekadash Rudra Temple, Bhairav Temple, and Kuteti Devi Temple. After reaching Uttarkashi, check into your hotel.

In the evening, seek blessings at the ancient Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend the evening amidst the spiritual and peaceful surroundings of the town.

Day 05 : Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Approx. 300 KM Round Trip)

Early morning, drive to Gangotri, the sacred origin place of the River Ganga. The route offers spectacular Himalayan scenery with pine forests, mountain valleys, and river views.

On arrival at Gangotri Dham, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River and visit the revered Gangotri Temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Pilgrims perform pooja and seek blessings at this sacred shrine.

Nearby attractions include Harsil Valley, Gangnani Hot Water Springs, Kedar Ganga Sangam, and beautiful mountain viewpoints. After spending time in the divine surroundings, drive back to Uttarkashi.

Day 06 : Uttarkashi – Tehri Dam – Guptkashi (228 KM / Approx. 8-9 Hours)

After breakfast, begin your drive towards Guptkashi, another significant pilgrimage destination of the Char Dham circuit. During the journey, enjoy magnificent mountain landscapes and river valleys.

En route, visit the famous Tehri Dam, one of the largest dams in India, known for its scenic reservoir and engineering marvel. Continue towards Guptkashi and visit important religious sites such as Ardhnarishwar Temple, Ukhimath, and nearby spiritual locations.

On arrival, check in to the hotel or camp. Spend the evening at leisure amidst the peaceful Himalayan surroundings.

Day 07 : Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath (32 KM Drive & 14 KM Trek)

Early morning, drive to Gaurikund, the base point for the Kedarnath trek. Gaurikund is famous for its hot water spring and the temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati.

Begin the 14 km trek towards Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and among the holiest shrines in India. The trekking route offers mesmerizing views of snow-clad mountains, waterfalls, and valleys.

Upon arrival, check in to a guest house or camp near Kedarnath Temple. Visit the sacred shrine and participate in evening prayers and aarti. Also explore Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi located behind the temple.

Day 08 : Kedarnath – Guptkashi (14 KM Trek Down & 32 KM Drive)

Wake up early and attend the morning darshan and pooja at Kedarnath Temple. The spiritual atmosphere of the temple surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks creates an unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, trek down to Gaurikund. On arrival, meet your driver and continue the drive back to Guptkashi.

Check in to the hotel and relax after the tiring yet spiritually fulfilling day.

Day 09 : Guptkashi – Mana Village – Badrinath (173 KM / Approx. 7-8 Hours)

After breakfast, drive towards the holy town of Badrinath via scenic Himalayan roads. On arrival, check in to the hotel and proceed for darshan at Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Later, explore nearby attractions including Tapt Kund, Narad Kund, Mana Village (the last village of India), Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul, and the Saraswati River.

The spiritual and natural beauty of Badrinath Dham makes it one of the most sacred destinations in India.

Day 10 : Badrinath – Rudraprayag (156 KM / Approx. 7-8 Hours)

Early morning, participate in the divine Badrinath Temple Aarti and seek blessings of Lord Badri Vishal. After breakfast, visit important attractions such as Mata Murti Temple, Charan Paduka, Panch Shila, Panch Dhara, Brahma Kapal, and Neelkanth Peak viewpoints.

Later, drive towards Rudraprayag, the sacred confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. En route, visit famous temples including Dhari Devi Temple, Koteshwar Mahadev Temple, and Agastya Muni Temple.

On arrival in Rudraprayag, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11 : Rudraprayag – Haridwar (162 KM / Approx. 6 Hours)

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar while enjoying the scenic beauty of Uttarakhand’s mountains and rivers. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.

In the evening, visit local temples and markets of Haridwar. You may also attend the spiritual Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri if time permits.

Day 12 : Haridwar – Delhi Departure (210 KM / Approx. 6-7 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to Delhi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
