Day 01: Arrival in Lucknow – Drive to Shravasti (Approx. 200 KM / 4 Hours)
Upon arrival at Lucknow Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive to Shravasti, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Shravasti is believed to be the place where Lord Buddha spent many monsoon seasons and performed several miracles.
On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Shravasti.
Day 02: Shravasti Sightseeing – Drive to Lumbini (Approx. 400 KM / 8 Hours)
After breakfast, explore the sacred Buddhist sites of Shravasti including Saheth (Jetavana Monastery) and Maheth, associated with the famous Angulimala Caves. Visit important attractions such as Jetvan Vihara, Ananda Bodhi Tree, Anathapindika Stupa, and several ancient Buddhist monasteries.
Later, drive towards Lumbini in Nepal, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Travelers are advised to carry a double-entry visa for India and a single-entry visa for Nepal.
Upon arrival in Lumbini, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 03: Lumbini Sightseeing – Kapilvastu – Kushinagar (Approx. 180 KM / 4 Hours)
After breakfast, visit the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha in Lumbini. Explore important sites including the Maya Devi Temple, Lumbini Garden Complex, and the Eternal Peace Flame.
Later, continue towards Kapilvastu, the childhood kingdom of Prince Siddhartha. Explore the ancient ruins and other attractions associated with Buddha’s early life.
After sightseeing, drive to Kushinagar, the place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Check in to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Kushinagar Sightseeing – Vaishali – Patna
After breakfast, visit the major Buddhist attractions of Kushinagar including the Mahaparinirvana Temple, which houses the reclining Buddha statue marking the place of his final departure. Also visit Rambhar Stupa (Mukutbandhan Chaitya), believed to be the cremation site of Lord Buddha, along with the Japanese Temple.
Later, drive towards Patna. En route, stop at Vaishali, the sacred place where Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon. You will also visit Kesariya, famous for the magnificent Kesariya Stupa, considered one of the largest ancient Buddhist stupas in the world.
Continue the journey to Patna. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Patna.
Day 05: Patna – Nalanda – Rajgir – Bodhgaya
After breakfast, drive to Nalanda to explore the world-famous Nalanda University Archaeological Complex, one of the oldest universities in the world where thousands of monks and scholars once studied Buddhism.
Visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall, a beautiful Chinese-style pagoda dedicated to the famous Chinese traveler and Buddhist scholar.
Later, continue to Rajgir, the ancient capital of the Magadha Kingdom and an important Buddhist pilgrimage destination. Visit the Vishwashanti Stupa (World Peace Pagoda), Griddhakuta (Vulture’s Peak), where Lord Buddha delivered many sermons, and the historic Bimbisara Prison.
After sightseeing, drive to Bodhgaya. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
Day 06: Bodhgaya Local Sightseeing – Dungeshwari Caves Excursion
After breakfast, visit the sacred Mahabodhi Temple, the UNESCO World Heritage Site where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the Bodhi Tree.
Explore other important attractions of Bodhgaya including the Niranjana River, Sujata Village, and Buddhist monasteries from different countries.
Later, proceed to the Dungeshwari Cave Temples, also known as the Mahakala Caves, where Lord Buddha practiced intense meditation and penance before attaining enlightenment.
Return to Bodhgaya for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07: Bodhgaya – Varanasi (Approx. 300 KM / 6 Hours) – Evening Ganga Aarti
After breakfast, drive to the holy city of Varanasi. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.
In the evening, witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. The synchronized rituals, chanting of hymns, glowing lamps, and spiritual atmosphere on the banks of River Ganga create a truly unforgettable experience.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 08: Sunrise Boat Ride in Varanasi – Excursion to Sarnath
Early morning, enjoy the magical experience of Subah-e-Banaras with a sunrise boat ride on the River Ganga. Witness the spiritual life of Varanasi unfolding across its ancient ghats, each carrying unique religious and cultural significance.
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park after attaining enlightenment.
Visit the famous Buddhist attractions including Dhamekh Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, Buddhist temples, and the Archaeological Museum.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 09: Varanasi – Khajuraho by Flight – Evening Leisure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.
In the evening, enjoy the famous Light and Sound Show at the Khajuraho Temples, which beautifully narrates the history and heritage of the Chandela dynasty.

Day 10: Khajuraho Temple Tour

Day 11: Khajuraho – Delhi by Flight – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Khajuraho Airport to board your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, continue to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
