Day 01 : Bodhgaya Arrival – Mahabodhi Temple & Bodhi Tree Darshan
Upon arrival at Bodhgaya Airport/Railway Station, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, proceed for a spiritual tour of Bodhgaya, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in the world.
Visit the sacred Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the revered Bodhi Tree. You can also explore nearby Buddhist monasteries and meditation areas that reflect the peaceful atmosphere of the city.
Later, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
Day 02 : Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna
After breakfast, drive to Rajgir, an important Buddhist and historical destination associated with Lord Buddha. Visit famous attractions including Griddhakuta (Vulture’s Peak), Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Venuvan, Rajgir Kund, and Bimbisar Jail.
Later continue to Nalanda, home to the world-renowned ancient Nalanda University ruins. Explore the archaeological complex, ancient monasteries, stupas, and the Xuanzang Memorial Hall built in memory of the famous Chinese traveler.
After sightseeing, proceed to Patna. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Patna hotel.
Day 03 : Patna – Vaishali – Kesariya Stupa – Kushinagar
After breakfast, drive towards Vaishali, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site where Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon. Visit the Ashokan Pillar at Kolhua, Buddha Stupa, and Abhishek Pushkarni (Coronation Tank).
Continue your journey to Kesariya to witness the magnificent Kesariya Stupa, considered one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world.
Later drive to Kushinagar, the sacred place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Kushinagar.
Day 04 : Kushinagar Sightseeing – Drive to Varanasi
After breakfast, explore the important Buddhist attractions of Kushinagar including the Mahaparinirvana Temple, housing the reclining statue of Lord Buddha, Rambhar Stupa – the cremation site of Buddha, and the beautiful Japanese Temple.
After sightseeing, drive to Varanasi. On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 05 : Varanasi – Sunrise Boat Ride – Sarnath – Evening Ganga Aarti
Early morning, enjoy the magical experience of Subah-e-Banaras with a peaceful boat ride on the River Ganges during sunrise. Witness the spiritual charm of famous ghats including Assi Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, and Harishchandra Ghat.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and later proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, the sacred site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park. Visit Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, Buddhist temples, and the Archaeological Museum.
In the evening, attend the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat and experience the spiritual essence of Varanasi.
Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 06 : Varanasi – Bodhgaya Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Bodhgaya. Upon arrival, transfer to Bodhgaya Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of the sacred Buddhist pilgrimage tour across India.
