Day 01 : Varanasi Arrival – Sarnath Excursion & Evening Ganga Aarti
Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, proceed for an afternoon excursion to Sarnath, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in India.
Sarnath is the holy site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at Deer Park after attaining enlightenment. Explore the important Buddhist attractions including Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Deer Park (Rishipattana), Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, Buddha Temples, and the Archaeological Museum.
In the evening, you may attend the peaceful ritual ceremony at the Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple in Sarnath. Alternatively, experience the spiritual charm of the world-famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi, where rhythmic chants, glowing lamps, and devotional rituals create a divine atmosphere along the River Ganges.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 02 : Varanasi Sunrise Boat Ride – Bodhgaya Transfer & Sightseeing
Early morning, experience the magical beauty of Subah-e-Banaras with a serene boat ride on the holy River Ganges during sunrise. Witness the spiritual life of Varanasi as devotees perform prayers and rituals at the ancient ghats. Pass by famous ghats that hold immense historical and religious significance.
Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, drive to Bodhgaya, the sacred place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the Bodhi Tree. Situated on the banks of the Niranjana River, Bodhgaya is among the most important Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in the world.
Upon arrival, proceed for local sightseeing including the magnificent Mahabodhi Temple, the sacred Bodhi Tree, Niranjana River, and Sujata Village associated with the life of Lord Buddha.
Check in to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
Day 03 : Bodhgaya Sightseeing – Drive to Kushinagar
After breakfast, continue your journey towards Kushinagar, the sacred place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. The scenic drive takes you through the cultural landscapes of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
On arrival in Kushinagar, check in to the hotel and later visit the revered Mahaparinirvana Temple, which houses the beautiful reclining statue of Lord Buddha. Also explore Rambhar Stupa (Mukutbandhan Chaitya), believed to be the cremation site of Lord Buddha.
Spend the evening in the peaceful spiritual surroundings of Kushinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 : Kushinagar – Lumbini, Birthplace of Lord Buddha
After breakfast, drive towards Lumbini in Nepal, the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, who later became Lord Buddha. Guests are advised to carry a valid double-entry Indian visa and a Nepal entry permit if required.
Upon arrival in Lumbini, check in to the hotel and later visit the sacred Maya Devi Temple, marking the exact birthplace of Lord Buddha. Explore the holy gardens, monasteries, and other important Buddhist landmarks in the area. Rediscovered in the late 19th century after centuries of obscurity, Lumbini remains one of the holiest sites for Buddhists around the world.

Day 05 : Lumbini – Gorakhpur Departure
After breakfast, drive to Gorakhpur for your onward journey. Transfer to Gorakhpur Railway Station or Mahayogi Gorakhnath Airport to board your train or flight.
