Day 01 : Bodhgaya Arrival – Mahabodhi Temple & Bodhi Tree Visit
Upon arrival at Bodhgaya Airport/Railway Station, our representative will warmly receive you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, proceed for a spiritual tour of Bodhgaya, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in the world.
Visit the sacred Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the revered Bodhi Tree. Spend peaceful moments in meditation and explore the serene surroundings of this divine spiritual center.
Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
Day 02 : Bodhgaya – Dungeshwari Caves – Sujata Village – International Monasteries – Meditation Experience
After breakfast, begin your excursion to the famous Dungeshwari Cave Temples, also known as Mahakala Caves, where Lord Buddha practiced severe penance before attaining enlightenment. Continue to Sujata Village, the sacred place where Lady Sujata offered kheer to Lord Buddha, inspiring him to follow the Middle Path.
Later, return to Bodhgaya and explore renowned Buddhist monasteries built by different countries, including the Burmese Monastery, Tibetan Monastery, Japanese Temple, and Chinese Temple, each reflecting unique architectural styles and Buddhist traditions.
In the evening, enjoy a peaceful meditation session at one of the monasteries, offering a calming and spiritual experience amidst the tranquil atmosphere of Bodhgaya.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 03 : Bodhgaya – Rajgir Sightseeing – Nalanda University Excursion – Return to Bodhgaya
After breakfast, drive to Rajgir, the ancient capital of the Magadha Empire and an important Buddhist pilgrimage site. Visit the magnificent Vishwa Shanti Stupa (World Peace Pagoda) situated atop Ratnagiri Hill, built by Japanese Buddhists. Explore Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture’s Peak), where Lord Buddha delivered many sermons to his disciples.
Also visit Venu Vana, Bimbisar Jail, and Pippala Cave, all deeply connected with the life and teachings of Lord Buddha. After sightseeing, enjoy lunch in Rajgir.
Later, proceed to Nalanda to explore the ruins of the world-famous Nalanda University, one of the oldest residential universities in the world. Walk through the ancient archaeological complex and visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall dedicated to the famous Chinese traveler and scholar.
In the evening, drive back to Bodhgaya. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 04 : Bodhgaya Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bodhgaya Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
