Day 01 : Varanasi Arrival – Sarnath Excursion – Evening Buddhist Prayer Ceremony
Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with the transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in India.
Sarnath is the holy place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at Deer Park after attaining enlightenment. Explore the major attractions of Sarnath including the Buddha Temple, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, and the Archaeological Museum showcasing ancient Buddhist relics and artifacts.
In the evening, participate in the peaceful prayer ceremony at the Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple and experience the spiritual ambiance of Buddhist traditions and rituals.
Later, return to the hotel in Varanasi for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02 : Varanasi Sunrise Boat Ride – Departure
Early in the morning, experience the magical charm of Subah-e-Banaras with a serene boat ride on the sacred River Ganga during sunrise. Witness devotees offering prayers, performing rituals, and taking holy dips along the ghats of Varanasi.
During the boat ride, explore the famous ghats of the city including Manikarnika Ghat, known as one of the oldest cremation grounds in the world, along with Harishchandra Ghat, Tulsi Ghat, Assi Ghat, and several other historic riverfronts. Each ghat holds its own religious significance and cultural heritage.
After the boat ride, return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out.
Later, transfer to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of your spiritual tour to Varanasi and Sarnath.
