Day 1: Delhi to Manali | Overnight Volvo Journey

Your dream Ladakh adventure begins today! Assemble at the designated pickup point in Delhi and meet your fellow travelers and trip leaders. After a short briefing about the exciting journey ahead, board your comfortable Volvo bus for an overnight drive to Manali.

As the city lights fade away, prepare yourself for an unforgettable expedition through some of the highest motorable roads and most spectacular landscapes in the world.

Day 2: Arrival in Manali | Acclimatization & Local Exploration

Arrive in the beautiful mountain town of Manali and check into your hotel. Since proper acclimatization is essential before heading to higher altitudes, the day is kept relaxed.

Spend your free time exploring Old Manali’s charming cafés, vibrant markets, and scenic streets. Shop for any last-minute essentials and soak in the fresh Himalayan atmosphere before the real adventure begins.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Manali.

Day 3: Manali to Sarchu | Crossing Atal Tunnel & Baralacha La

Distance: 177 KM

After breakfast, embark on one of the most scenic road journeys in the Himalayas. Drive through the engineering marvel of Atal Tunnel before passing through the picturesque villages of Sissu, Keylong, Jispa, and Darcha.

Witness breathtaking landscapes as you cross Deepak Tal, Suraj Tal, and the rugged terrain of Zing Zing Bar. The highlight of the day is crossing the mighty Baralacha La Pass at an altitude of 15,910 feet.

Reach Sarchu by evening, enjoy dinner, and spend the night amidst stunning Himalayan surroundings.

Day 4: Sarchu to Leh | Gata Loops & More Plains Adventure

Distance: 230 KM

Today marks the beginning of your thrilling ride into the heart of Ladakh. Collect your bikes and set out toward Leh on one of India’s most iconic highways.

Conquer the legendary Gata Loops with its 21 hairpin bends before crossing Nakee La and Lachulung La. Ride across the surreal landscapes of Pang and the endless More Plains before reaching Tanglang La, one of the highest mountain passes in the region.

Descending through Upshi and alongside the Indus River, arrive in Leh by evening.

Day 5: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Distance: 130 KM

Start your day with a visit to the iconic Shanti Stupa before riding towards the spectacular Nubra Valley.

Cross the world-famous Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads on Earth, offering panoramic views of snow-covered peaks and dramatic valleys.

Upon reaching Nubra Valley, visit the famous Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy optional activities such as Bactrian camel rides and ATV adventures.

Day 6: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Diskit

Distance: 180 KM

Begin the day with a visit to the historic Diskit Monastery, home to the magnificent Maitreya Buddha Statue overlooking the valley.

Continue your journey through rugged Himalayan terrain toward the mesmerizing Pangong Lake. Famous for its changing shades of blue and crystal-clear waters, Pangong is one of Ladakh’s most photographed destinations.

Spend the evening by the lakeside, enjoying unforgettable views and stargazing opportunities.

Day 7: Pangong Lake to Hanle via Changthang Valley

Distance: 180 KM

Today’s route takes you through the remote and breathtaking Changthang region, known for its untouched landscapes and rare wildlife.

Ride through the villages of Man and Merak while witnessing Ladakh’s vast wilderness. Visit the historic Rezang La War Memorial before continuing through Tsaga La and Loma Bend.

Reach Hanle, home to India’s highest astronomical observatory and the country’s first Dark Sky Reserve.

Day 8: Umling La Excursion | World’s Highest Motorable Pass

Get ready for the most thrilling day of your Ladakh expedition as you ride to Umling La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 19,024 feet.

The journey offers dramatic landscapes, challenging terrain, and unmatched Himalayan vistas. Standing atop Umling La is a moment every rider cherishes forever.

Return to Hanle by evening and enjoy another magical night under a star-filled sky.

Day 9: Hanle to Leh via Chumathang

Distance: 254 KM

After breakfast, begin your return ride to Leh through scenic mountain roads and remote Ladakhi villages.

En route, stop at Chumathang, famous for its natural hot springs. Depending on time availability, visit the historic Shey Palace and the magnificent Thiksey Monastery, two cultural gems of Ladakh.

Arrive in Leh by evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 10: Leh to Kargil via Lamayuru

Distance: 216 KM

Today’s journey combines adventure, spirituality, and history. Visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and experience the mystery of Magnetic Hill before stopping at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.

Continue through the fascinating Moonland landscapes of Lamayuru and explore the ancient Lamayuru Monastery. Cross Fotu La and Namika La before reaching Kargil.

Day 11: Kargil to Srinagar via Dras & Zoji La

Distance: 210 KM

After breakfast, continue toward Srinagar through the scenic valleys of Kashmir.

Visit the Kargil War Memorial in Dras to pay tribute to the brave soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War. Later, cross the legendary Zoji La Pass, one of the most dramatic mountain passes in India.

Witness the transition from Ladakh’s rugged terrain to the lush green meadows of Sonamarg before arriving in Srinagar.

Enjoy a memorable overnight stay in a traditional houseboat.

Day 12: Departure from Srinagar | End of the Adventure

  • Cost incurred to transfer or tow the motorbike in case it is dropped on the way.
  • Vehicle servicing or maintenance cost.
  • Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in package inclusions
  • Any airfare/rail fare other than what is mentioned in inclusions, or any type of transportation from Manali or Srinagar.
  • Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
  • Additional costs due to flight cancellations, landslides, roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
  • Security deposit per motorbike of Rs. 5,000/- as per the deposit policy (refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts required. The refund would be credited within 7-10 working days, post filling up the security form).
  • Airport pick-up and drop is excluded from Delhi and Srinagar
