Day 01: Arrival in Varanasi – Dev Diwali Celebration, Boat Ride & Ganga Aarti
Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax before the evening’s grand experience.
As dusk approaches, prepare for one of the most magical events in India – Dev Diwali. Head towards the ghats for an unforgettable boat ride on the sacred Ganges River. During Dev Diwali, the entire riverfront transforms into a mesmerizing spectacle, with thousands of earthen lamps illuminating every ghat.
From the boat, witness the breathtaking view of iconic ghats like Dashashwamedh Ghat glowing with diyas, while devotees float lamps on the river as offerings to the divine. The reflection of lights on the water creates a surreal atmosphere, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Capture stunning moments during a special photography session, as the ghats come alive with vibrant rituals, colors, and spiritual energy.
Later, attend the world-famous Ganga Aarti ceremony, where synchronized chants, fire rituals, and devotional music create a deeply spiritual ambiance.
After this divine experience, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 02: Sunrise Boat Ride – Temple Tour – Sarnath Excursion & Departure
Begin your day early with a peaceful sunrise boat ride on the Ganges, one of the most soulful experiences in Varanasi. Witness the magical “Subah-e-Banaras” as the first rays of the sun touch the river and devotees perform rituals along the ghats.
Cruise past famous ghats such as Manikarnika Ghat, Assi Ghat, and Dashashwamedh Ghat, each with its own spiritual significance and stories. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, proceed for a comprehensive Varanasi temple tour. Visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most revered Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Continue to explore other important temples including Annapurna Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Durga Temple (Monkey Temple), Kal Bhairav Temple, Manas Mandir, and the Birla Temple located within Banaras Hindu University.
Later, take an excursion to Sarnath, the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Visit key attractions such as Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, and the Archaeological Museum, which houses ancient relics and Buddhist artifacts.
By evening, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of the spiritual and cultural richness of Varanasi.
